SHANK WILLIAMS JR. — "The Devil Went Left, So Shank Went Right"

New Single Out Now

Track Description

Down at the Driving Range there's a legend they still talk about at the 19th hole.

The Devil came looking for souls and found a golfer instead. He challenged Shank Williams Jr. to a round for the Golden Wedge — winner takes the trophy, loser takes the fall. The Devil brought fire, brimstone, and a swing forged in the depths of hell itself. Shank brought something darker: a short game built on bad decisions, worse lies, and the kind of resilience you only get from three decades of never once looking right post shot.

"The Devil Went Left, So Shank Went Right" is outlaw country at its rawest — slow-burning, whiskey-soaked, and packed with spoken-word breaks where Shank lays out exactly how he out-sinned the sinner himself. Turns out when you've already lost every ball, every bet, and every ounce of dignity a man can lose on a golf course, the devil's got nothing left to threaten you with.

This is the anthem for every golfer who's made a deal with something darker than par just to finish a round.
